Basically two elderly women came down to London when John was starring in Anything Goes. Theye were fed up after being pushed and shoved by the crowds that they went to their hotel that one of the old lady's daughter had arranged for them only to be told their room were not ready. One of tha ladies went off to sort it out and when she came back she found her friend crying because her bag had been stolen which had her heart medication in. The police took statements and then the two of them decided to go and see John anyway to cheer them up and that they would find a 24hr chemist and collect her medication after the show. Well when the show finished they were making their way to find a chemist when a silver car pulled up, the driver asked if they were ok and one of the women told the driver the whole story. He offered them a lift even saying he knows they shouldn't accept lifts from strangers but they got in anyway. As they settled in the back seat the driver started talking to them again and it was then that one of the women recognised his voice...they had been offered a lift by John Barrowman. To top it off he was so nice to them they he took them around to find a chemist, then took them on a full tour of London to see all the sights before bringing them back to their hotel at 2am. He walked them in and the ladies were told that their rooms still were not ready...at which point John intervened and told the staff that the two women were infact his two aunts....the staff rushed off and got the ladies room ready straight away, then he told the staff they hadn't had anything to eat so they got them a full dinner too. John hugged them both as he left and when they woke up in the morning they found out that John had settled their hotel and dinner bill for them. Three weeks later the two ladies went to see him again when he played Billy Flyn in Chicago....they sent a bouquet of flowers backstage to thank him for last time. When he show had finished and usher arrived and asked them to follow him....he took them to John's dressing room where he hugged them again and they chatted. Then two weeks later a big package arrived in the post for them and it was full of signed photos and cds.
